oz. butter |

to mix |

Mix
the barley meal, oatmeal and salt in a bowl. Rub in the butter
and then gradually add enough milk to make a firm dough. It
shouldn't be sticky.
Shape it into a round flat cake and bake slowly on a griddle. |
