Joss
Whedon Enters the Fray

No-one
ever accused Buffy creator Joss Whedon of not knowing how to
milk a good idea. Nope. He came up with that Buffy the Vampire
Slayer thing in 1992 and he's not done with it yet. We've had
the movie, the TV series, the spin-off (Angel) and the cartoon.
And now...the comic book.
Like Angel, the comic book is more of a spin-off. Titled Fray
it is set in the future and revolves around a future slayer who is
also a professional thief. Whedon recently told TV Guide that he wanted
to do someone completely different from Buffy, someone who
has no idea what she is and doesn't believe in spooks.
Ooh, yes, that's completely different. Real cutting edge. Um...doesn't
that character sound a little like Faith? Wonder if the comic book
charactr is going to look anything like Eliza Dushku...
The eight-part Dark Horse comic book should hit stores on June 6th. |

68 - Roman
Emperor, Nero commits suicide at the age of 31. Initially
a popular ruler, it didn't take him long to mess things up.
Killing his mother didn't do much for his rep, either.
