Actor
Robert Downey Jr. had cocaine in his system at the time of his arrest
last month, according to Culver City Police.
Downey, who was stopped in an alley, voluntarily gave a sample which
subsequently proved positive following toxicology tests. The arrest
on April 24 was just the latest in a steady trail of events that has
seen the actor in and out of jail and rehab. Following his arrest
he voluntarily checked himself back into rehab, leaving producers
of Ally McBeal scrambling to find a way to wrap up the season
without him.
He will appear in court next Tuesday on charges of being under the
influence of a controlled substance. The following week he'll be back
in court to face charges of possession stemming from his November
Palm Springs arrest. |
