Rumors
about a possible prequel to Gladiator have been flying around
for some time now, but it does seem that David Franzoni, the writer-producer
of the original, is in talks with DreamWorks to pen the follow-up.
But will it be a prequel or a sequel? Well, that is up to Russell
Crowe. If he's interested in assaying the role again, it'll have to
be a prequel. If he's out then we'll be waiting for a sequel.
