Sorkin, the Emmy award winning creator of ratings powerhouse, The
West Wing, was arrested on Monday for possession of a controlled substance.
The substance in question was a "quantity" of hallucinogenic
mushrooms which he was apparently trying to take from Los Angeles
to Las Vegas.
Sorkin was arrested by airport security at Burbank Airport. He was
released three hours later on payment of a $10,000 bond.
In July he signed a $16m development deal with Warner Bros Television.
You'd think he could afford to pay someone to carry his drugs for
him.
