When
Michael J. Fox left Spin City, the producers decided to continue
the show with a new lead actor, leading to a good amount of skepticism
among its faithful. Brook Burke is now ready to leave E's Wild
On, and the search for a new host may just bring about the same
spirited response (likely for different reasons.) If bikinis and
margaritas are not your cup of tea, then FX has a great high school
flick, NBC and Ali Landry bring us a new Spy TV, and the
Travel Channel attempts to show us the real Atlantic City.

Spy TV - NBC - As Candid-Camera rip-offs go, this
second year NBC entry does have its watchable moments. Those would
be the ones that don't include its host, former Doritos girl, Ali
Landry. Tonight's episode will include a son telling his shocked
parents he's a father and a motorist ticketed for a parking meter
before placing any money inside. No, it certainly won't win any
Emmy's, but what are you gonna do, watch Jag?
Election - FX - Writer/director Alexander Payne's upcoming
new Christmas film, About Schmidt, is already garnering Oscar
buzz for him and its star, Jack Nicholson. In this 1999 film from
Payne, Reese Witherspoon shines as an overachieving high school
student determined to be class president. A darkly humorous and
realistic look at high school politics, with magnificent acting
turns by Witherspoon and co-star Matthew Broderick.

Casino! - TRAVEL CHANNEL - A look at that other American
city where gambling is legal: Atlantic City. Sure, it doesn't have
the luxurious hotels and amusement parks of Vegas, it's positioned
in an ugly and generally unsafe neighborhood on the grim, dirty
beaches of New Jersey, but at least it isn't always so darn hot!
Wild On Wants You - E - Brooke Burke is set to throw in the
towel as host of this long running show and so her search begins
tonight for a replacement. Although, it could be tough to find someone
willing to travel around the world strictly to exotic locations
only to party with attractive people in skimpy outfits. Yes, it
could be very tough. (I'm available, by the way.)
