Former
80’s teen heartthrob Rick Schroder recently made a comeback with
a critically acclaimed role on NYPD Blue, only to suddenly
leave the program to spend more time with his family. (Paving
the way for another former teen heartthrob, Mark-Paul Gosselaar
to join the cast.) Apparently Schroder still yearns to be on the
small screen as he begins a guest-starring role on Scrubs
tonight.
Elsewhere, Friends gets extra time, Gywneth Paltrow sulks,
Columbo snoops, and The Pulse premieres.
8:00pm
Friends – NBC – In this 40 minute “super-sized” edition,
Monica gets all kind of happy when people applaud her performance
in a Karaoke bar, unaware that they are cheering because they
can see through her dress.
Hard Eight – BRAVO – Writer/Director Paul Thomas Anderson’s
(Boogie Nights, Punch Drunk Love) largely unseen first
feature co-stars Gywneth Paltrow and John C. Reilly in a dark
story about strangers who meet in Reno.
Columbo Likes The Nightlife – ABC – They’re still making
new Columbo movies?
8:40pm
Scrubs – NBC – Elliot falls for a charming man (Rick Schroder)
who she meets at the hospital, believing he is a doctor. Only
problem is, he’s actually a male nurse.
9:00pm
The Pulse – FOX – The season premiere of this prime-time
newsmagazine features an exclusive interview with Evan from Joe
Millionaire, a show that “coincidentally” airs on the same
network.
