TV Tonight:
Monday, January 20th

  by Noah Ruderman

"Joe Millioanaire" (FOX)It was quite the “shocker” last week when it was revealed that one of the women on Joe Millionaire had a boyfriend back home and “perhaps” was only on the show for the supposed money. Of course, I don’t know which was worse, the actual contestant who likely deceived the show's producers or the rest of the women, who, once informed, pounced on her like a bunch of rabid dogs. A new episode of the reality hit airs tonight on Fox.

8:00pm
Boston Public – FOX – Looking back at my High School experience, I don’t remember the teachers engaging in a seemingly endless array of sexual affairs with students, other teachers, and yes, married mothers of their students. Tonight, Anne Archer continues her guest-starring role as the mother of one of Joey McIntyre’s students, a student who now threatens their ongoing tryst.
The Rock – ABC – Before producer Jerry Bruckheimer was making silly asteroid films (Armageddon), pretentious, cliched historical romances (Pearl Harbor) or films pairing Jerry O’Connell and kangaroos (Kangaroo Jack), he was actually responsible for some entertaining and fun action movies, including this 1996 Die Hard clone starring Nicolas Cage, Ed Harris and Sean Connery.
Dinner For Five – IFC – The second season of this series of celebrity dinner conversations premieres tonight when host Jon Favreau (Swingers, Made) welcomes the stars from the upcoming comic-book film, Daredevil. Join Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, Colin Farrell and director Kevin Smith (who actually had nothing to do with Daredevil) for an evening of unscripted banter.

9:00pm
Joe Millionaire – FOX – Evan takes the five remaining women on a romantic trip to Paris where they’ll visit the Moulin Rouge, dine on top of the Eiffel tower, and spend time learning how to tango. Almost makes me wish I had sent in that application.

10:30pm
Clone High - MTV – What if some of the greatest figures in history had been cloned and were now teenagers going to high-school? That’s the hilarious premise to this new animated comedy which premieres tonight. On the first episode JFK won’t let Abe Lincoln come to his party without bringing the beer.
